how is double front A-arm caster adjusted?

I was reading the technical article here about the new G30 suspension vs F10 suspension and was curious how this form of suspension gets its caster adjusted. I am only familiar with McPherson. If possible, I would also like to know what determines the length of an A-arm. I know the camber is adaptive with this setup, but was wondering why a 5" long arm is better / worse than a 10" long arm.
