Toyota/Lexus Product Plan: 2016 – 2019

SHARE

The worst scenario in car shooing is: buying a new car without knowing that specific model will be completely redesigned or refreshed within a couple of months. Because that means: 1. you are buying a soon-to-be obsolete model; 2. you have probably not factored this into the price negotiation (dealerships typically will accept a much bigger discount on last-model-year cars to cleanup inventory).

Here we are providing you internal information from Toyota, showing its product plan for all of its US brands. When a model is listed under a year, it means that model’s information (full spec/MSRP etc.) will be announced within that year (probably in one of the major US auto shows).

Redesign: a new generation, completely new design and platform
Refresh: small updates to the current generation, facelift
All-new: a new model that previously not exist
