I will choose S550 rather than 750i
The current S550 is the new generation, and the 750i is soon to be replaced by a redesigned one. That means if you buy the S550, it won't be outdated in the next 4-5 years; if you bought the 750i, it will be immediately be an "old" car after several months.
However, the 750i currently has big discount, to compensate the above disadvantages.
Mechanically speaking both of them are very good, the S550 has slightly better body rigidity but the 750Li has better handling and a better transmission.
