The Lexus GS is based on a rear-wheel-drive platform, while the Acura RLX is FWD layout. The RWD is more preferred than the FWD layout due to better weight distribution and handling.
The Lexus GS is a mid-size car, but the RLX is considered to be a full-size sedan. You get more room in the RLX.
