The torsional rigidity is a critical parameter for a vehicle, which measures how many force you need to apply to “twist” the car body frame by one degree. Of course the larger of this value, the better.
From the consumer’s perspective, what is the benefit of a high torsional rigidity car body? A vehicle with high torsion rigidity will give the driver and passenger a more “solid” feel when the car is running, especially when the road is bumpy and has lots of potholes on it. The cabin will has less rattling and popping noises because the car body has less twist and flex when there are forces transmitted from the suspension.
Because of the above benefits, generally speaking luxury cars and sports cars usually has higher torsional rigidity.
Unfortunately many automakers does not published this data for their products, even their products are proved to be have very good torsional rigidity. Some automakers disclose the data, but they do not advertise it, or publicly claim this selling point.
The data in the below list is collected by YouWheel.com editor from various sources and research. Some values are explicitly disclosed by the manufacturer, some are implicitly derived by multiple sources. We try our best to make it accurate, however we cannot guarantee it is 100% error free.
Data are all from credible sources. For example major US/European auto industry media publications – either electronic version or paper version (such as MotorTrend, Car and Driver etc); or industry association documents (for example Steel Market Development Institute, SAE etc.); or interview articles with personnels of specific auto makers.
All values’ unit is in Nm/deg.

The effect of loyalty programs on problem gambling is an issue that has received growing attention in recent years. According to the https://aucasinoslist.com/casinos/house-of-jack/, a recent study found that 40% of problem gamblers in South Australia engage in harm minimisation features at casino resorts. This study focused on loyalty programs for EGM gamblers, which are often referred to as carded-play. The research also examined the effects of loyalty programs on problem gambling by gender and frequency of EGM play. Wohl, Davis, and Hollingshead (2007) showed that problem gamblers who received feedback reduced their expenditure by as much as 25%.

“On the road, the big Punto feels robust, refined and quiet. Its stiff structure – with a class-leading torsional rigidity of 19,700 Nm/degree for the 3-door and 16,500 Nm/degree for the 5-door – plays an important role here, as is the improved suspensions”

718 Cayman and Boxster chassis stiffness:
“The original Cayman (987 C7S) had a torsional stiffness of 31,500Nm/degree, or about 250% better than the contemporary Boxster (987). This meant the Cayman quickly gained favour with hard-core Porsche enthusiasts and track day addicts.”
“Over time however, succeeding generations of Boxster became better and better, with the recent 981 generation approaching the dynamic prowess of its fixed-head stable-mate,” he recalled. “The 718 Boxster has a 19,000Nm/degree torsional stiffness number that significantly closes the handling gap when you drive the two cars back-to-back.”

Anybody knows the bimmer e90 vs e92?
Dunno if this is of much help, but it does provide an actual, numerical measurement, albeit only for the structure.

Hello, anyone knows the torsional rigidity of the Saab 9-5 1st gen (1997-2010)? I found the one for 9-3 but not one for 9-5. Regards.
